Gibraltar loses against Scotland for second time

The Gibraltar Futsal National squad were defeated for a second time, although in both matches they proved to be up to the test against Scotland.

In tonight’s match Scotland won by 4-2 after surprising Gibraltar in the first half with two rapid goals in the last minute of the half to make it 3-0 at half time.

Gibraltar held their own in the second half and reduced the margins through a goal from .Jamie Walker on the 38th minute and Andrew Lopez immediately after bringing the score to 3-2. Scotland however responded with their 4th to make it 4-2.

Gibraltar were unfortunate to come out with a defeat in their first futsal international match in Scotland yesterday.

Gibraltar led from the start with a goal in the 3rd minute from Tyson Ruiz, closely followed by another from Ian Rodriguez and with four minutes to half time Andrew Lopez made it Scotland 0 Gibraltar 3.

Scotland nevertheless came back with their response after half time and scored within four minutes of the start. The home side clawed back the equaliser and with just two minutes remaining on the clock Scotland went ahead 4-3.
