The story behind the images:

Lincoln declares themselves as Champions

Lincoln Red Imps did not have long to wait to declare themselves Champions when in just under 9 minutes not only had they struck the post, and forced several saves from Brazilian keeper Filoho, they had also scored 3.
The Red, Black and Whites were playing Angels, a team already relegated and whose future was as uncertain as it had been on whether they would turn up for the match. However, Angels did turn up, eleven players plus the President (turned first division player) as a substitute.
Lincoln left for the half time break with 6 goals to their name, in what had been a constant bombardment of Angels goal. Only some superb saves from Brazilian keeper Filoho had kept it from reaching double digits.
The combination between Lee Casciaro, George Cabreras, Livramento, Walker and Kyle was short fo spectacular as they tore the  Angels defence apart.
The Second half was much the same as Lincoln started by hitting the crossbar again within minutes of the second half starting.
The goals continued to rain in as even substitutes Abayian and Clinton got their names on the score sheet.
Lincoln had come out to win the league championship in style on this day, and had already prepared their own celebrations for the day with white t-shirts claiming to be champions. A 13-1 victory was a sure way of highlighting their superiority. The only point marring the day was the solitary goal that had been conceded late in the match.
