Retired RGP Inspector Ian Howes will on Saturday participate in the 101km trail run in Ronda in aid of the Eve Appeal.
The run is already considered as a challenge to runners who have to carry their own provisions like, water and torches. It is expected to be even more challenging as the rain affects it. In a post today it was stated, “Just a weather update, still raining in Ronda and the latest is that the trails are really muddy especially the last 25km from the area of Benoajan to Ronda, so muddy that not even the Legionarios cross country motorbikes can ride along them.”
Ian Howes challenge is further amplified have had a serious back problem in the past which at one stage nearly risked his career. Now retired Howes has been involved in multiple challenges, hikes and running, mainly in aid of sponsors.
