Gibraltar national women’s keeper to play in Spanish league.

Kyrelle Revagliatte, the Gibraltar Women’s first choice keeper, also player of Lion’s Women is expected to sign for Salesianos Algeciras next season. The Spanish club is presently the regional champion in Cadiz and third in Andalucia, considered among the top clubs in the region.

The news has been leaked by Salesianos coach Rafa Garcia in comments to Kyrelle in Facebook. 

The Lions keeper when contacted to comment and confirm the news was unwilling to comment stating that she was presently the keeper at Lions and was concentrating on her role with the club with whom she will be playing the Rock Cup final in the next few weeks.

Kyrelle will be the first local women’s footballer who will be playing in a women’s league outside Gibraltar highlighting the vast development in football among women in Gibraltar.

The news comes on the same day Gibraltar’s football received a further boost with inclusion into FIFA.
