Mons Calpe risk losing points if sanctioned

Mons Calpe’s draw against Glacis United did not just see the club drop places at the top. The newly promoted side could also see them sanctioned under the HGP rules implemented this season.

The team made a last minute substitution  of Max Cottrell, after they had another of their Home Grown Players red carded. In replacing Cottrell without using a HGP player there were no HGP players on the field, although HGP players remained on the subs bench.

Mons Calpe await on a decision on whether they will be sanctioned. In similar circumstances in which Gibraltar Phoenix did not field a HGP player in their match against Hound Dogs they were sanctioned with the full points given to Hound Dogs and a £350 fine imposed on Phoenix.
